Hot Apple Butter Rum
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 1/4 cups (1 lb) dark brown sugar
- 32 oz vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 20 pouches Alpine® Original Spiced Apple Cider Mix
- 20 oz rum
In large bowl, prepare hot apple butter rum mixture by blending together butter, brown sugar, ice cream and nutmeg. Place in freezer until ready to use. For each serving, empty contents of one pouch Alpine® Original Spiced Apple Cider Mix into a mug. Add 1 cup hot water. Stir quickly to dissolve. Add 1 scoop hot apple butter rum mixture and 1 shot (1 oz) of rum.
